On the Open Class Building at the Dawson County Fairgrounds
Painted in memory of Kay Wiley, the Stitcher's Star is dedicated to Kay in honor of her 30+ years of entering her needlework projects in the Open Class Exhibits at the Dawson County Fair, many times winning the Best of Show.
Donated by her husband, Wes Wiley, it was painted by her daughter Jamie Gruntorad in Kay's favorite colors.
